Matt Halperin, CFA

Cofounder

Matt has been involved in financial services for 30 years and was programming PCs before the first Apple. His last corporate role was Senior Vice President, Global Independent Risk Officer for MFS, a $500bn asset manager. His leadership roles in risk and derivatives included the implementation of large system projects. He is very proud of the success of the professionals he has hired over the years at MFS, Allstate, Putnam, and TIAA.

Matt started his career as a derivative specialist before moving into risk management. He expanded the use of derivatives at money managers and pioneered the use of credit derivatives at insurance companies. Matt currently serves on the Investment Committee of the American Heart Association, and is on the Board of the Saint Gaudens Memorial.

Gregg Corso

Cofounder

Gregg is a seasoned technology and financial services operating executive, with a background in product development, sales/marketing and corporate development. He was recently the COO at data center cloud infrastructure company and, before that, spent over a decade at TIAA (where he met Matt) in a range of operating and functional roles. Earlier in his career, Gregg was a practicing lawyer, working on complex transactions as a partner at a leading Silicon Valley law firm and in senior positions at the US Securities & Exchange Commission.

Tamas Marin

Cofounder

Tamas has over three decades of technical expertise in various domains and settings. Tamas has worked for both startups and established corporations in industries such as insurance, health tech, e-commerce, and public sector. Tamas has taken on multiple roles and responsibilities, demonstrating his ability to design and build high-performance, secure, reliable, and scalable systems using a wide range of technologies. Tamas is a problem-solver who can deliver effective solutions for any challenge.
